St. Vincent’s in the rain: Venue Preview

Today was venue preview day for me, my 9.5.2010 bride Selah, her mom Vickie, and their wedding coordinator, my friend and colleague Jennifer Stone of Special Events by Jennifer Stone. It was also a rainy day, but that didn’t stop us, of course – we had wedding business to do!  So we took a long walk around the facilities of the historic St. Vincent’s School for Boys, a stunning 750 acre property in San Rafael, Marin County in the north San Franciso Bay. Gorgeous just does NOT describe this amazing place, from its aged, rustic stone walkways to its stunning chapel, it has everything to offer to a bride and groom, and their scenery-loving photographer too. I ran from one inspiring scene to another snapping shots as Jenn, Selah and Vickie discussed table placement and ceremony timing. I have little to offer there, but I hope to contribute more on the actual day. Until then, I’ll just enjoy the scenery.
